This kind of adsorbents is used for the moisture and halogenated compounds removal from the hydrogen-contained and exhaust gases in the hydrogen and ammonia production units. The chlorides presence in the gas streams may cause the metal corrosion of the units. Chlorine and it’s compounds are the poisons for the nickel-contained catalyst. Chlorine adsorbents TNM CGS are the adsorbents with high value of the chlorine adsorption and crush strength, they are effectively work in a wide temperature range. Chlorine adsorbent TNM CGS is a promoted Alumina Oxide with two kinds of shapes – balls and extrudates.
